Welcome to EURACHEM 2020

Dear Colleagues,

We have the great pleasure to announce that our national Association Eurachem-Romania organizes the workshop “Quality assurance for analytical laboratories in the university curriculum”. The scientific event will be held in connection with the Eurachem General Assembly, which will take place in Bucharest, capital of Romania.

The scientific workshop aims to contribute to better communication, to promote more actively the issues and objectives of EURACHEM, and to provide a debate forum for organizations and specialists interested in promoting and ensuring the quality of analytical measurements. The workshop where knowledge and experience could be shared with numerous experts will offer real opportunities for further collaborations in this specific domain.

The scientific workshop and Eurachem General Assembly will take place at Central Library of University Politehnica Bucharest, 313 Splaiul Independentei, 060042, sector 6, Bucharest.
Bucharest is the capital and largest city of Romania located in the southeast of the country on the banks of the Dâmbovița River. Bucharest was once known as “Little Paris,” a capital that blossomed under King Carol, who imported French architects to give his city a grand feel.

Today Bucharest is a bustling metropolis known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, glorious Belle Époque buildings, and a reputation for the high life. Easily reachable by plane (Bucharest Henry Coanda International Airport, Bucuresti-Otopeni), Bucharest is waiting for its visitors to visit its emblematic attractions: the Arch of Triumph, Cantacuzino Palace, The Royal Palace, The Romanian Atheneum, Parliament Palace, University Square, Old Town Bucharest, Revolution Square, Victory Way, lots of museums and parks.

We are looking forward to offering a warm welcome to all of you for the scientific workshop “Quality assurance for analytical laboratories in the university curriculum” and the 31st Eurachem General Assembly. An ambitious scientific program will be accompanied by an attractive set of social events.

On behalf of The Organizing Committee,

Eugenia Eftimie Totu
